… a journey on the Piz corvatsch
Piz Corvatsch is a mountain in the Bernina Range of the Alps, overlooking Lake Sils and Lake Silvaplana in the Engadin region of the canton of Grisons. With an elevation of 3,451 m, it is the highest point on the range separating the main Inn valley from the Val Roseg. The cable car station at 3303 m above sea level is the highest in Graubünden and has stunning panoramic views. Corvatsch means in Romansh “big raven”. ( It is the Graubünden language coming from Latin and having five main dialects. It is used as the 4th official language in Switzerland)
